There are two VERY dangerous vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer and Java. The IE fix will come out today and the Java fix is already out (v7.11) Make sure you upgrade ASAP! You can manually run Windows Update from the Start Menu (or under the Safety Menu in IE). To force check for the new Java update, go to Control Panel -> Java -> Update Tab and click 'Check Now'. If it's not there, go to java.sun.com and follow the instructions. Like if you've updated and share with your friends to keep them safe! Virus infections are much more complex these days and are taking longer to remove so stay safe!

Never a good thing to see when you start your computer. Interestingly enough – this used to almost ALWAYS mean your hard drive had failed. Nowadays with virus infections getting much deeper into systems, we've seen viruses cause an error like this and some disk repairs get a system booting again.
Fun
This is always fun to wake up to. What other awesome errors have you seen unexpectedly? This happened to me today btw. Good times.
