Windows 10 has started to roll out. Wondering if you should update? We strongly advise businesses to wait a while to ensure their critical apps will work. Residential users should wait a month or two – allowing bugs found by early adopters to be fixed.

If you DO choose to upgrade, be VERY careful! Microsoft forces your computer to start using all their built in apps for web browsing, pictures, music, and videos. They also, by default, opt you in to MANY privacy invasive options you have to turn off. You have to specifically UNCHECK those boxes during installation. Also, your default web browser will be set the new Microsoft Edge browser. If you prefer to use Chrome or Firefox, they will prompt you to make them default again – watch for it.
