Just like you should check your approved Facebook apps every once in a while, you should review all the installed apps on your phone. Get rid of any you don't use AND make sure the ones you do aren't spewing tons of data to advertisers (or worse) in the background.

Most routers ship with WPS enabled by default – but it's been vulnerable for a long time. Few people use it (you press the WPS button and 'pair' your computer or phone with your router using a PIN code vs typing in a Network Password for WPA2 type setups).
