If you still use Windows XP and use Google services (GMail, Drive, Calendar, etc), you'll soon encounter issues using Internet Explorer unless Microsoft updates it (unlikely). You'll have to switch to Google Chrome or Firefox to continue connecting to Google's services. They're upgrading to stronger encryption that IE on Windows XP doesn't support.
